Working Meditation
Working Meditation offers a time for silent reflection, quiet enjoyment of the peace of the farm, a chance to engage in agricultural or forestry activities, and time to talk with fellow travelers at the end of the session. Based on the concepts expounded in Chop Wood, Carry Water. Working Meditation Sessions offer a chance to connect deeply with the land, the Spirit, and our neighbors. Some days include guided meditation and others are self directed (with a brief orientation to the work of the day). The sessions run from 9:30 – 11:30 every first and third Wednesday morning when the weather is nice. Please call ahead if you are coming and bring a simple lunch if you would like to stay after the session to enjoy the farm. Suggested donation: $ 12.00.
